This week I did some more work. First, I lasercutted the arcade machine out of cardboard. It took me a few days, since lots of people were using the lasercutter when I wanted to use it. Then I put it all together, and I saw any problems that I would have with the design. It turns out that I had all my measurements perfect the first time, so I didn't have to change anything. I then worked on changing the CAD model so that I would be able to lasercut it out of wood, instead of cardboard. Fusion was not trying to work, which was very frustrating, but in the end it all worked out. I have to figure out what thickness of wood I want to cut the arcade machine out of, and I also have to figure out what size drill bit I am going to be using, because that will also affect the size of the holes around each corner, in my CAD design.
