This week I was working on the electronics and cad for the arcade machine. I added a bunch of stuff to the design, like pieces that will hold the electronics in place, so I don't have to 3D print a mount for them. I had an issue with Fusion, where it would just crash on me for no reason. One of my shop teachers, Mr. L, recommended to me that I just kind of ball and deal with it, so that's what I did. I also had some trouble with Inkscape, so one of my shop teachers, Mr. L, showed me how to create a template that is the same width and length as the lasercutter that I am going to use to cut out the cardboard copy of the arcade machine. As you can see on the picture below, I changed a bunch of stuff about how the pieces intersect with each other, including a locking mechanism that I hope will work

Also, this week I asked one of my shop teachers, Mr. L, to hook me up with a college recommendation. After days of a confusing back and forth between him and me, I think he might write it for me. He sent me a google form to fill out, which is what I did.

Probably the most important thing I did this week was recruiting people to donate to and join the end alzheimer's walk that is going to be taking place on Sunday, October 27th. Usually I wouldn't really care about causes like this, but their logo is purple, and that's my favorite color, so I decided to make an exception.
