This week was cut short for me due to a few reasons. Firstly, Monday was Veteran's Day, which meant that there was no school. Secondly, I was out sick on Tuesday, so I couldn't get any work done. On Thursday, I was only in shop for one period which was also cut short because of a meeting I had with my guidance counselor. However, even with all these inhibitors of my work, I still got a lot of work done this week. The first thing I did this week was finally assemble the arcade machine, which can be seen on the first picture below. I still have some work to do in regards to the physical arcade machine, but all of those things are relatively unimportant and not necessary to making the arcade machine actually function. The next thing I did this week was solder and crimp the rest of the buttons. With the help of Alex Hickey, a classmate of mine, I was able to finish soldering all of the buttons. However, there are a couple buttons that are not working, and I am going to have to see if there is a problem with the crimp, or if those buttons are just defective. If those buttons are just broken, I will have to order new ones, which will be a real pain to have to deal with.
