This week I got some more work done on my arcade machine project. Overall, I plan to be completely done with this project by winter break, so that would be nice for me to finally be done with this project that has lasted me almost 2 years of my life. Anyways, this week, I was able to 3D print the button nuts that I had designed in Fusion. I printed out 4 of them, in total. First, I printed out one so that I could see if I had set it with the right dimensions. Once I tested out that one, I found that the dimensions were correct, so I 3D printed the other 3, and put them on the buttons, where they fit right on. Then, I 3D printed the locks that I am using to keep the arcade machine together when I put it all together. Again I 3D printed one of them to see if it fit, and once I tested it out and saw that it did, I printed 5 more. After this, I began the process painting the arcade machine so that it looks good. I have currently finished painting 2 of the pieces, and I am going to be painting more today and next week. After I am done painting them, I will be making some wires to extend the wires on the buttons onto where I'm going to be placing the PCB. After that, I just have to put everything back together, and I will finally be done with this project.
