This week I was able to finish up my Alumni sign project and get some more work done on my safe project as well. On Monday, I was able to hang up the sign I made last week. As seen in the first picture below, the sign goes very high up on the wall. I had to go up on the ladder to hang the sign. This can be seen in the second picture below, where I am shown tapping the mounts into the wall. I then had to hang up the pennants with Milo. He hung up the CU Boulder and UMass Lowell pennants, while I hung the UMass Boston pennant. This is why the UMass Boston pennant looks a lot better and straighter than the other two.

I also got some more work done on my safe. On Tuesday, I cut out a cardstock version of my safe, which I will be making in sheet metal. This can be seen in the fourth and fifth pictures below. The third picture below shows the rules for the metric aluminum settings in Fusion. On Wednesday, I went up to Metal Fab and talked to Mr. Jackson about using that kind of material, and if they would be able to work with it. He told me that the bend radius was surprisingly low, so I should bring up some test cuts and pieces of scrap aluminum that they can practice on.
