This week, I got back from April break. I instantly got back to working on my video game project. Firstly, I added many new maps to the game, as seen in the pictures below. These pictures are taken from the map selection screen, and don't show the animations and features that certain maps have. For example, in the Castle, Baltimore, and Miles' Backyard maps, there are animations that take place every frame for things like fire, or other things that are featured in the maps. Maps like the racetrack, and the shop have animations that can take place every 20 seconds or so, and they run on a loop that is a few minutes long, so the player never feels like they can predict when animations are going to take place. For example, in the shop map, the Tetris board will flash green for a few seconds every minute or so, and the tiny robot in the corner will move around for a few seconds in between every Tetris board occurrence. Furthermore, the traffic light in the shop map will shine red when the game is over, green when the game is on, and yellow in the time in between when someone scores and the next possession.

Also, I created the assets and animations for another character. I currently have 6 out of the 10 character's completed, and I am currently working on the 7th character's assets. Hopefully, I can finish this game soon, because I still have to do the electronics for the arcade machine, cut out the arcade machine, and then design how the outside of the arcade machine is going to look.
