This week I got a lot of work done. On Monday, I improved my arcade machine design, so it works better. I also improved my dog tag design and lasercut a new one out of clear acrylic. The text font was being weird with the lasercutter, and it wasn't working well, so I traced around the letters with the pen tool and lasercut that new design. On Tuesday, I lasercut some of the cardboard parts out of cardboard with the lasercutter, with the help of Alexander Hickey, a fellow shop mate of mine. Then, on Wednesday, I finished cutting out the remainder of the cardboard pieces and I put together the rest of the cardboard pieces. My time on Wednesday was cut short, since we had health class during sixth period. On Thursday, I had to redesign my arcade machine in fusion, to account for new space that I have to find a way to incorporate into my design. Since the laptop that I am using has certain dimensions that I have to account for, for the hardware, I need to make a new design to account for those things. So, overall, I would say that today was a very productive week for myself.

This is a picture of the cardboard version of my original arcade machine design.
